This is a funeral where family & friends have a ceremony, event or service for the deceased person at the same time as they attend their burial or cremation.

Taking care of all necessary legal and administrative arrangements:                                                     £900.00

Collecting and transporting the deceased person from the place of death

(Within 20 miles of the funeral directors premises)                                                                                    £475.00

Care of the deceased person before the funeral at our premises                                                (included in price above)     

Providing a suitable coffin that is constructed from reclaimed wood and oak veneer surface             £600.00

Viewing of the deceased person for family & friends  “by appointment”            (included in our care costs)

At the date and time of the funeral service transporting the deceased in a Hearse to the crematorium or Cemetery (within 20 miles of the funeral Directors premises)                                                                                                     £400

UNATTENDED FUNERAL:

This is a funeral where family & friends do not attend and no service is carried out at the crematorium or cemetery, Funeral director’s charge of not including cremation or cemetery fee

FEES YOU MUST PAY BEFORE THE FUNERAL CAN BE BOOKED

(KNOWN AS “DISBURSEMENTS”)

For attended or unattended funerals, the Burial or Cremation fee as stated above for

local residents of North Tyneside along with any Clergy or Humanist fee of                                        £200.00

(If the funeral service is to take place in church before a Burial or Cremation, other fee’s will be payable to the church -  these costs will be explained at the time of arrangements.

Two doctors fees of £82.00 each for a cremation (unless a coroner is involved)                                   £164.00

If a grave needs to be purchased, the purchase fee is                                                                              £750.00

Additional Funeral Directors’ products and services

The funeral director will offer other services and products, some of example are listed below:-

 Other charges will apply if a greater distance eg. hotel stop over and driver’s meals etc.

Reception into church out of hours with hearse and staff within 20 miles                                              £200.00

Take home to deceased’s own residence out of hours with hearse and staff within 20 miles

The burial fee includes the digging and closing of an existing grave, and a purchase fee if it is a new grave.

England Wales and Northern Ireland usually have two doctors (£82.00 each signature) as well as a medical referee fee included in the cremation cost these fees are set by the B M A.

The final account will be sent out seven days after the funeral and must be paid within fourteen days of the account date.

Any late payment will incur a 2.5% interest charge.
